IMPORTANT NEWS ON CALL FOR PROPOSALS 2026
Do you consider yourself a ‘young scientist/professional’ (relatively early in your career) and would you like to work on a NKS project proposal?
OR if you are a more experienced professional in the field and know a ‘young scientist/professional’ in a relevant field you think you could help in this way, please forward this NewsFlash with encouragement to them. NKS needs help from you to reach the ‘young scientists/professionals’.
We now have a new option for ‘young scientists/professionals’ to send a short and general description of your interests and capabilities to nks@nks.org, using a simple template you can find here on the NKS webpage.
This short person description will then be uploaded on the NKS call for proposals website, to facilitate match-making between possible NKS project proposal leaders and the ‘young scientists’.
NKS would like to see more young scientists included in the projects, and proposal leaders are often looking for more project partners from all the Nordic countries. They know that inclusion of young scientists will enhance their proposal’s evaluation score. Of course if you have a good own project idea, we encourage you to become a proposal leader, and can provide help also with that.
For inquiries you can write to nks@nks.org.
NKS strongly encourages you to participate in a project proposal – there is still almost a month left until the proposal deadline – 15th of October!
