Lack of willingness to participate in response to emergency with radiation aspect is also a factor in emergency preparedness There are manual and guidelines for how to deal with radiological emergency for first responders but not a comprehensive curriculum. The aim of this project is to share how the different Nordic countries teach and train their first responders. Also to define optimal curriculum for basic radiation protection education for first responders and propose methods for delivery of the material that might facilitate primary and continuing education.
