Joint NKS-R and NKS-B Seminar, Stockholm, 15-16 January 2019 (1st announcement)

NKS proudly announces a new joint NKS-R and NKS-B seminar, which will outline the current and emerging advances and uncertainties in Nordic nuclear and radiation risk estimation, examining implications and needs for the future. The seminar will span over selected themes from reactor risk processes and accident risks to the population to problems in decommissioning, waste treatment, NORM and protection of the environment. The Nordic status will also be put into international context. The seminar programme is in the final stages with several international key speakers, including Claire Cousins (Chair of ICRP). More detailed information, including possibilities for registration, will follow in the next announcement in September.
