| LIST OF ACRONYMS AND ABBREVIATIONS |
Updated: 06-05-03 |
Acronyms and abbreviations abund in scientific and technical literature. NKS reports are no exceptions. In order to make things easier on the reader, the following list of commonly used acronyms and abbreviations in reactor safety, waste management, radiation protection and related fields has been compiled.
The reader will find, perhaps to his dismay, that most acronyms and abbreviations are just spelled out, not explained. Detailed explanations of the entries are beyond the scope of this list. It is, however, intended to be a living document. Therefore, improvements in the form of suggestions, additions and corrections are welcomed. The easiest way to submit your comments is to send an email. Your kind cooperation will be appreciated.
