NKS-B Young Scientist Travel Assistance
NKS-B would like to announce travel assistance for ‘Young Scientists’ wishing to attend and give a presentation at NKS-B seminars and meetings. Those wishing to claim travel assistance must fulfil the following criteria:
· Applicants must be affiliated to an institution/organisation/university within a Nordic Country.
· Applications will only be considered for ‘Young Scientists’ at degree, masters, and PhD level or where postdoctoral scientists are within their first 2 years of postdoctoral study. A priority will be given to those below the age of 35.
· Applications will only be considered for ‘Young Scientists’ making an oral and/or poster presentation at an NKS seminar or meeting.
Applications should be inline with expected travel costs (maximum award per claim of 10 000 DKK). ‘Young Scientists’ wishing to apply for travel assistance should first contact the NKS-B Program Manager to determine their eligibility. Only after approval from the NKS-B Program Manager will claims for travel assistance be accepted. All applicants for travel assistance will be asked to submit a form with their claim giving details of the seminar or meeting, travel costs and an abstract of their presentation. Additionally all applicants must submit a short report of the seminar or meeting that they attended, summarising the topics presented and the key issues discussed.
